Zelda anime apparently in the works

Quote:
Courtesy of ComicBookMovie comes word that Archer Animation is in the process of adapting Akira Himekawa’s Link to the Past Manga to anime form. Industry heavyweights such as Vic Mignogna (of Dragon Ball Z and Full Metal Alchemist fame) among others, will be contributing voice work for the adaptation. The team has not as of yet released any additional information pertaining to the work; so as far as release dates and such we have nothing to report as of now. Hit the jump to hear our impressions.

Quite frankly, this is extremely exciting; not only are they working on an anime adaptation of the Zelda franchise, but they have actually managed to recruit known talent for the adaptation. I could not be more excited about this news and I will be waiting in full anticipation for the release of the adaptation.
So, what do you guys think about this? Are you just as psyched and excited as I am about this? Chime in on the comments below.

I'm pretty sure that it will be better than the 90's cartoon, but I'm still skeptical about Link talking

I'd prefer if he didn't talk, but if he has to then he better have a good voice actor.

I own every Zelda manga aside from 1 volume (the second part to Four Swords). Akira Himakawa did an amazing job with the whole series, and the A Link to the Past Manga was one of my favorites out of the set. The dialogue Link says in these books always matches what I assumed of his personality from that individual game. I had no complaints with his dialogue. IF he has a good voice actor, and they keep the lines the same, it will be no problem.

Well about my opinion, i think that maybe, Nintendo and T.V. must combine like before, like do shows of the games played and playing by gamers, i think if the y make a Zelda Anime Show, must be done first, with the story of TLOZ: OOT. Then with the Majora and Wind Waker and finally Skyward Sword, i think that...for now.

There was a Legend of Zelda cartoon in the late 80's. It ran for one season which was heavily based on the first video game on the NES. For instance when Link in the show were to find an item to correspond to the game, the item would magically shrink into his pouch. Wasn't a terrible Sunday morning cartoon but i'd be excited to see the anime version of it.

Yeah N64Stein i think we know that or atleast i know, but well, that 80 series was so...boring, or atleast for me, i saw like 10 episodes and well, it doesn´t have the magic of the adventure and the fighting for justice so high as legend of zelda games, i think that.
