What are some disappointing games you've played?

You beat it, or maybe you stopped half-way. Regardless, you've just played a game that didn't live up to the hype, and wouldn't you know it....you have a disappointing game on your hands.

Tell me, what games have you played that were disappointing?

I'll start with a recent game: Assassin's Creed III. I won't go into spoilers, but I definitely felt like the game was different than what it was advertised as, and for the wrong reasons. Not to mention the game felt incredibly rushed, thanks to all of its glitches and missteps with the gameplay.

Another one was Epic Mickey. I dunno with this one; a part of me really loves the idea of it, and of what I liked about it was amazing. But about half-way through it just got stale for me. And it was a shame, because like I said, I loved the idea of it.

I preordered both too, so I was pretty excited when I got them.

Soul Calibur V is pretty disappointing, especially for a long time SC fan. The problem is the lack of content. Aside from a short story mode, and lackluster arcade mode there's barely anything to do by yourself. As for the actual fight system it is the most refined in the series, and character creation is also the best in the series. Normally, this isn't a big deal, but Soul Calibur has always been a fighter you could play alone as much as multiplayer. I 100%'d SCII for Gamecube and it took me at least a year.

Battlefield Modern Combat(PS2) - I loved Battlefield 1942 and BF, but the game's control scheme bugged me

Megaman X7 - Capcom already made great 3D Megaman games with Legends 1+2, there should be no reason for this game to be as awful as it is

Sonic Heroes - Didn't suck me in like Adventure 1+2

Marvel Nemesis - The between the bad camera and fighting style, I now only trust Capcom to make Marvel Fighting games, and
even now I'm not so sure

Syphon Filter 3 and The Omega Strain - Things in these games just felt more complicated than they needed to, that and I didn't care for the making a character in Omega Strain when Gabe's story hasn't even halfway finished

Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Battle 22 - Why I'll never trust box art for game quality ever again

Kid Icarus: Uprising

Literally I was more disappointed than anything, especially since I was kind of bullied into buying the game. I hated how it changed the difficulty settings if you died once in a stage.

I wouldn't say I was extremely disappointed in KI, but neither was I really impressed.

It's not like the graphics or gameplay were bad. I loved using different weapons and it was great looking in appearance. Losing your hearts after you die once AND having the settings changed? Not so much.

God, I really hate the stupid AI teammates when playing offline mode. The lack of similar gameplay from previous RE4/RE5 is the big minus point. The story is not very appealing either.
