Live shows

Does anyone else here love going to concerts and live shows? I didn't start going to them until I was 18, but the atmosphere is addicting. I can't afford to go to big ones often but indie bands playing at bars and cafe's usually only cost a $5 cover charge to see, so I go see those when I can. Anyone else?

For the record, I myself have only attended (and only have interest in attending) alternative, screamo, and metal shows. Nothing against other forms of music, it's just my preference. If I ever get to see A Day to Remember live, I'll probably dislocate my neck.

There's a lot of bands/musicians i've wanted to see live, but they're either not close enough or I'm too broke to do anything. I've wanted to see Tech N9ne in concert for a long while now. Sounds odd maybe, but I always imagine that show being wild.

One time at a cover band's show at a bar in Richmond, they started playing "Pardon Me" by Incubus, and they were doing an awesome job, and everyone was all into it. I was right at the front of the stage, when out of nowhere a drunk ass midget (I'm not even joking") gets between me and another guy throws up 2 rock fists, screams, them jump slams into both me and the other guy. A ****ing drunk midget started a mosh pit. O_O

I was planning on seeing a few artists live at concerts, but decided against it because of the cost. I saw some metal/screamo/hard rock bands at a small club/venue once. I didn't like the music, only went because a friend wanted me to go along, but the atmosphere was still decent. It is pretty cool at the very front.

I know Jem has seen a few bands live. Blink182 & Paramore, I think. Maybe a few others.

I try to catch Wiz Khalifa whenever he comes around these parts. I went last year and this year, whenever I hear he's coming I immediatley start saving money and usually I have enough to get a ticket. My friends Trey and Damion come with me as well, it's a ****ing great atmosphere and the security lets you smoke in the crowd, it's ridiculous man.

My family and I have gone to see Dream Theater numerous times when they tour close enough to where we can go. I've also seen Rush and Iron Maiden once each in concert.

The Iron Maiden one was great, because not only did Dream Theater open for them, their setlist, their stage presence and sound quality was the best.

Probably because they sounded like this.

every hear called the "Sacred Chode" instead of their real name. They are terrible elitist posers.

I went to a few of the small venues Kryn is talking about, and the concerts he said I did.
I loved the atmosphere. I also saw some kind of famous guy sing at a nightclub, I dont really like him, but the atmosphere was still decent so I didn't hate it either.

I really want to see Muse live, but I don't like their new music much. They changed their genre quite a lot with their latest album "The 2nd Law". They also said they won't play Origin of Symmetry live anymore, which sucks. They said they don't want to anymore because it was their second album, which made them popular, and is their (known as at least) best album. They still play a few songs from the first album though, Showbiz.
Kind of sucks how things work out, but I'm still going to try and see them live because apparently they play better live and the atmosphere makes them one of the best bands to see live.

Muse is one of the few 'bands' I listen too. Some of their shit is just kinda chill which I dig.

I've always been into that cool kinda laid back stoner music I dunno. Wiz and Cudi mellow me out which is why I love their music.
