Why don't people use Club Nintendo?

There are a ridiculous amount of people who either somehow don't know it exists, or that just don't care about free games and merch. I had a friend earlier tell me she didn't know about the program until she met me. I have bought USED games that still had working codes in them. I open used game cases in gamestop all the time just to be nosy, and 9/10 times, the manual and papers have not been touched, the club nintendo code still perfectly in place. If I wanted to, I could probably take out all the Club Nintendo codes from used games in a store and have a few hundred spare coins. Why do people not use/know about this awesome program?

This said, if you do know about it, and just don't care, please consider donating your codes to me. I use them for promotions on my facebook page as well as for myself.

I use it. It's the same here, almost all the used games I've bought have the codes still in and unused, even GameCube games I've bought this year have had them still ready to use.

The Australian Club Nintendo sucks ass. I have to reset my password every time I want to log in, because it seems to regularly forget my account actually exists. Even if I copy and paste the resetted, temporary password into the "Password" field, it tells me I'm wrong. It's just a huge hassle and the Australian site barely has anything good.

I feel that way sometimes too. But hey, I'm on the site, every month checking out which VC Games I could nab.

Most of the items in the store don't interest me. Once Nintendo puts up some soundtracks and throwback controllers like that sweet-ass SNES classic controller, then I'd be more apt to use my coins and CN.

I spend them mostly on downloadable games.

Perhaps, they are like me: they haven't bought a new game in a long time or they haven't bought enough games to get coins. The problem is that some games aren't eligible for coin rewards, so it really makes it pointless. I used it the first year it was introduced and ended up using all of my coins to get a calendar and three posters. The prizes are at least good, so I'm thankful for that.

The only games at the current that are no longer worth coins are Gamecube games and some early DS games.
