No EA Games for Wii U

Plain and simple: EA isn't working on any Wii U games following the delayed released of last month.

Following the departure of CEO John Riccitiello, COO Peter Moore told GameSpot: “We still have thousands of people focused on developing current-generation Xbox 360 and PS3 games, as well as people focused now on the next generation when that finally arrives.” Evidently, EA doesn't consider the Wii U to be next-generation or, but the sounds of things, current-generation as does not have a dedicated team working on any Wii U games.

Over six months before release, EA has already ruled out a Wii U release of Battlefield 4.

I guess that means the 3rd Alice game won't be on Wii U. That's a shame.

They've already done a good job of making themselves the buttcrack of the gaming industry. Plus the only franchise they've made that I actually care about was Medal of Honor(haven't played Mass Effect yet), and they did a pretty good job destroying it the last 2 years. I can do without them

Is it just me...or does it seem like EA is pulling the same crap they did back in 1999 with the dreamcast, refusing to support it because they thought it was a dead end like the saturn or 32x fiasco in the mid 90s?

EA released exactly 0 games for the dreamcast, sega had to release their own equivlents of it, the 2K baseball/football game franchise started that way.

EA is possibly trying to test the waters, getting a wait and see attitude, if the wii U skyrockets in sales and is a general success then we will possibly see them come on board.
