What the hell is wrong with me?

Ok so as you may or may not know, I have acute insomnia and frequent night terrors as well as quite the temper which has landed me in anger management. So I kinda freaked out on my "counseler" and told him that the classes were pissing me off and I didn't want to hear his "goofy looking ass" talk to me anymore. So now between the insomnia and anger they think something is physically wrong. Now, I have been going through a good bit lately and it has led me to depression and questioning of a whole lot of things, it also got me a certain addiction I won't go into detail with. I've fought off the withdrawals from this addiction now and I don't get them really. However I am a complete mess, I go from randomly crying to extreme angry to extreme happiness. Also, I've hardly been eating. So getting to the point they are going to conduct a series of tests including an MRI to try to figure out what is wrong. So my questions are this have you ever felt this way? How do you deal with depression? When I'm on these forums do I show signs of Bipolar like attitude? (Cause that's what they are pointing to) BASICALLY WHAT THE **** IS GOING ON WITH ME GUYS!?
Please try to help with anything.

How can we really help if we don't know what your addiction is? Anyway, Everyone goes through an ordeal at some point in their life, called a crisis. This "crisis" is not a traditional one, but in psychological terms means an even that forever changes that person. Perhaps in your case, this is your crisis, and will ultimately change you for the better. There are far worse things than having to go to a doctor, for example, no being able to afford such help at all. In the end, none of us here can really help you. we can encourage you, but we can't help you - that's what the doctor's "goofy looking ass" is there for. All I, or anyone else here can really do, is pray for you.

Well he is right, you must go with a Doctor, or sleep more, or maybe distractions doesnīt let you sleep

You guys are misreading me I've practically beaten addiction already and am coping well in fact the withdrawals are virtually gone. It doesn't take too long to break this particular addiction if you just go cold turkey on it. The problem now is what lead me to the addiction: this thorough emotional imbalance and depression. I'm trying to beat it minus the substance abuse. Essentially I'm asking how to cope with depression.

SMGD's Guide to solving Killua's Depression

1) Man the F*** up.

Quit all that juvenile bullshit. All I see you ever post about is how you are hittin up the Ganja tube with your homies and how you told a cop to go F*** himself or whatever. Frankly, you seem like the lamest person ever, so whether you actually do any of these things, or if you are just making them up for attention, just quit. Stop acting like there are not consequences for your actions.

2) Get New Friends
How many of these idiotic things are done to impress your friends, or your friends are involved in anyway? If it is over 40% you should probably find new friends, as the only place they are going to get you is a nice 10x8 one room apartment, that is government funded, and has shitty food, and cold metallic toilets.

3) Get a Job
You want to know how to stop feeling like a worthless piece of shit? Stop being a worthless piece of shit. Get off your lazy ass. If you aren't working 20 hours a week, you aren't worth shit. Plus, Money buys Happiness, don't listen to any of that philosophical bullshit.

4) Get an Education

Having a steady part time job is only upgrading you from a Smelly Piece of shit, to a less fragrant one. Next part is focusing your time on learning. You know how money buys happiness, well get a college degree to get more money, and more happiness. And maybe meet a cute young lady along the way.

5) Devote time to relaxation.
But Sir Manguydude, with all this time working and studying, how will I ever be able to relax, and reduce my stress? Easy, time management. Let's look at your schedule, you are at school for approximately 40 hours a week, plus the homework time, so lets put in 5 hours for that, then work is 20 hours. You should be spending at least 42 hours a week sleeping, a full 56 if you are getting 8 hours a night. There are 168 hours in a week minus the 121 hours a week spent at work, school, and sleeping 8 hours a night, leaves you with 47 hours to do whatever. And lets be honest, and make that closer to 45 hours if we include time eating all week.

6) Get a Good Hobby

Videogames are a good hobby to devote some of that 45 hours a week on. In your budget, provided you get paid every 2 weeks, set aside every paycheck, a hobby budget. This would be whatever money you allocate yourself to spend on your hobby. And of course save the rest of your money.

SMGD is definitely right about the job part. As long as you don't get some fast food shit (not worth it, trust me), it will really help. You'll be putting money away, and you'll be working so much you won't have as much time to be depressed.

I've applied several places but I already have a criminal record so I'm not really appealing as most of the other 16 year olds. Your definition of manning the **** up and mine are completely different man, I respect your opinions and advice but you have to realize everyones individual situation you shouldn't hop into judgmental statements without really knowing someones life. Your talking to a kid who's only known drugs and violence his whole life. I've never had anyone to look up to accept my old friend Will who was murdered. I bang with the Westside Duce and I'm labeled a delinquent by society. I will probably never stop using drugs and I will certainly not abandon my friends we are family and without them I'd prob be left in a gutter somewhere. I don't respect authority that's true I do stupid shit that's also true, that's simply because I don't give a **** and never have I do what suits me I understand the consequences for my actions I just don't care anymore.
