Shatterhand Undiscovered Secret Tutorial

Hey guys, I was playing through my favorite NES game Shatterhand the other night, and I discovered something while trying to save enough money for an extra life. If you roll through the first level punching out the boxes, you approach a wall with two rolling robots going vertically up and down. If you punched out these boxes and collected a robot, these robots will begin to shoot lasers at you. If you punched all the way through the boxes to get the coins instead of the alpha beta letters, and have no robot of your own, the rolling wall robots do NOT FIRE LASERS AT YOU.

I postulate that this was a mechanic put in to encourage robot usage if you have in fact collected a robot, and a way to make the game easier if you have not. I have tried this with two different Shatterhand cartridges.

Cool, Huh?
