Brandyn Johnson, resident F-Zero enthusiast here.

Ah yes the SNES game is a classic, still fun to play even to this day. X on the Nintendo 64 however took things to a whole new level much in the same way Melee took the Smash Bros. franchise to a whole new level, and GX polished up and improved on what X started. It's officially been a decade since GX's release and still no console sequel unfortunately.

Same here as i prefer the original F-Zero too,but to be honest i felt the N64 did make worse sequels and ports of Snes games.

The original one does have a unique feel to it. Plus it probably has the hardest version of "Fire Field", I still have trouble making it through that track without dying.

Agreed.
Also the "Practice Mode" only gives you seven tracks. Ones that don't even require much practice no less.
