It was more of a sequel to an SNES game, whereas your review states the other games as sequels to NES games. Still, Link's Awakening and Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins run laps around the others.

Decent indie remake is almost finished.

I don't like this game very much either. In fact both this and Metroid(NES) have aged pretty horribly imo. Would love to see a remake however

never had the metroid for the NES ( still on the search for one ). I just knew that it took like for ever to upgrade and completing it ...
