Xerneas Makes An Appearance In Super Smash Bros. Wii U

http://www.nintendonews.com/2013/10/...sh-bros-wii-u/

Is Xerneas a playable character, support character, or boss?

Super Smash Bros. director, Masahiro Sakurai has just shared an interesting image for upcoming Wii U title Super Smash Bros. Wii U. The image shows Pikachu and the Fairy-type legendary Pokémon Xerneas — the mascot for 3DS title Pokémon X.

While it’s unclear if Xerneas will be a playable character, support character, or boss for the upcoming 2014 Super Smash Bros. title, it’s interesting to see it featured in the game. Sakurai-san posted the following message along with the image.
We have absolutely nothing to announce today regarding Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. Really!
The official Super Smash Bros. website doesn’t yet have Xerneas listed as a playable character so anything is likely to result from this. According to the image Sakurai shared, Xerneas definitely doesn’t possess boss-like dimensions and qualities.

Be sure to check out all of our news coverage on Pokémon X and Pokémon Y and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS.
