Music Recommendations

So, what are some good bands that you have heard that you would recommend other people to listen to? They can be popular bands, as well as some new ones.

For me, I've got a couple. The first one would be Linkin Park. I'm sure you all have heard their music before, so I'm not really going to go into detail telling you about them. One band that I like that is pretty good is From First to Last. Actually, the only music I would recommend from them is their newest album, From First to Last. Anything from before with Sonny is absolute garbage. His voice is bad. He has since left the band, and has been replaced with Matt Good, who has a lot better vocals. They are a rock band, if you wanted to know. Their music is a little heavier than most rock, but not enough to be metal. You might have heard their latest single, Worlds Away: the rest of the album does not sound like this. It is a lot deeper. They are definitely worth a check out.

So, what about all of you, what would you reccomend?

My Bands would be:

//MetallicA\\ I'm sure we've ALL heard of them. Anything after the ",.,And Justice for All" album is garbage though. This is THE band for any true metalheads.

Avenged Sevenfold aka A7X- These guys aren't really metal, but they get the job done. I love their dual solos!

Atreyu- hmm... Atreyu is the "scream" type of band or at least they used to be before the "Lead Sails, Paper Anchor" album. It was okay but its not what I expected from Atreyu.

I got LOTS more bands to list but it would take FOREVER since i'm on my Wii at the moment. Those are my top recommendations though

Cool

Heh....

Ya know ya can't go wrong with
"Guns and Roses", "AeroSmith", "Rolling Stones", "Creedence Clear Water",
"Tupac", "UB40", "Bob Marley", "Def Leppard", "3 Doors Down",
"Santana", "Rage Against The Machine", or even "The Beatles".

It's all depending on yer tastes,
although, Marvman will admit Country or Classical
isn't his strongest suit.......go figure....

Rockn.

Lately I've been listening to the following, which I highly recommend:

For those of the country/folk persuasion, I recommend Conor Oberst & the Mystic Valley Band's new album, Outer South.

Modest Mouse dropped a new EP called Nobody's First, But You're Last.
It is awesomely amazing, for those who like mainstream indie.

Cold War Kids is awesome, and I recommend the CD Loyalty to Loyalty.

Of Montreal is a Canadian rock/pop/weirdness band that I heart pretty bad.
Check out either Satanic Panic in the Attic, or the album The Sunlandic Twins.

Also, for those of you who remember OK Go from a few years back (remember the treadmill video?)
It turns out their album Oh No is actually quite awesome.

Also, if you like Jack White, download the single from his side project The Dead Weather - Are Friends Electric?
Very cool.
