Kojima teases "confidential project"

Quote:
Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima has tweeted he's at work on a "super confidential project", leading to speculation that Zone of the Enders 3 may finally be in full production.

A photo accompanies the tweet, which reads "Kojima Production super confidential projectís experiment presentation and meeting."

While we can't know for certain, the smart money suggests this means Zone of the Enders 3 is finally entering full production. A sequel for Zone of the Enders was officially confirmed back in 2012, when it was going under the working title of Enders Project.

The original Zone of the Enders was released in 2001, followed by sequel Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner in 2003, so a follow-up is long overdue.

Of course, when Kojima confirmed the existence of the game, he did say it was in production, so perhaps it's gone beyond the "experiment" stage? In that case, could Kojima be teasing a new project entirely? Or is the sequel to Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance destined to try something new?

Hopefully, whatever the situation, it won't be too long before we find out more. In the meantime, we've got the imminent release of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes to tide us over.

Personally I'm hoping it's something new, and that he takes a break from Metal Gear, despite the fact that I would love a Revengeance 2
