Solutions to Juggling Consoles

OK, maybe the title confused you. Here are all of the systems, not including Handhelds, that I currently own:

NES
SNES
N64
PS1
PS2
PS3
Gamecube
Wii
Wii U

Now, I only keep 2 or 3 systems hooked up at any one time or else it just becomes too jumbled. I keep thinking I way to play one of my Gamecube or PS2 games, but then I just can't ass myself to drag my console box out of the closet, swap it with something, etc. Does anyone else have this problem? Do you do any thing to alleviate it?

I never play my consoles for that exact reason; plugging them in, putting discs in etc. It sounds extremely lazy but so many games are on different consoles that it becomes a chore to do it constantly. I pretty much only play when someone comes around or if I have a new game and really want to play it.

Wii U & PS2 are both backwards compat, so theoretically you should never need to "juggle" ps1 and wii. Ever.

2 consoles down, for the rest i would just find a tv stand with multi brackets in them and have them all set up at once but make sure the tv connectors are clearly labelled so you can plug them into your tv at convenience.

VC and softmodding, which I believe you can still do on the Wii U, eliminates the need for just about every older Nintendo console unless you want to play on the original system for some reason. I have a PS3, and for older Sony stuff I turn to emulating on my computer if I ever feel like playing since I don't own the systems anymore.

So it's just Wii and PS3 as my main systems right now, not that cluttered at all. Whenever I get a Wii U I'll keep my Wii around since it's backwards compatible with the Gamecube. They're both pretty small, so they won't take up much space.

Yeah like the above said.

Get a PS3 that plays PS2 games and boom all PS1-3 playable. (you probably wouldn't want to buy another ps3 but I was just saying)
Wii U for Wii U/Wii Games
and a Wii for Wii/Gamecube/N64/SNES/NES (if you want to softmod it)

If you have a decent computer you can emulate Gamecube/PS2/N64/SNES/NES games and all you'll need then is your PS3 and Wii U hooked up to play all you listed.

I emulate games for various purposes like getting footage, but I honestly hate playing games on emulators.

You can try just playing games on one console at a time until you get your fill so you don't have to constantly switch cords?

I had 1 360 that I sold later to get the S-model, which I sold when I was unemployed for money.
