Nintendo Gameboy Restoration Project
Hello, and I would like to say to all nintendo fans that have a broken or faulty or simply not working gameboy, that if they know electronics(soldering, screen repair, etc.) that we should try and keep as much gameboys still working.
Since nintendo does not produce anymore gameboys, you can only buy them is sites like eBay Amazon etc. I think that we should keep working gameboys for future collectors and the whole future generation. If you have any gameboys that work but you don't need them then try to sell them to people that actually want them.
And also if your gameboy has simple problems like: vertical lines on screen or the battery contacts are corroded or something simple like a badly scratched up screen, then try to find components online. For ex a screen lens costs about 2.99$ on eBay.
So please don't throw away you gameboy if it has a minor problem.
