Will US/Japanese carts physically fit into a UK PAL console?

Hi all

I've gutted a dead SNES and built a Retrode and a Raspberry Pi into it. I can now slot my real SNES carts into a real SNES console and play them with crisp graphics and sound over HDMI

Now that the games are being played, in reality, on an emulator, I can use NTSC carts. So, if I buy US or Japanese carts, will they physically fit into the slot on my UK console? Region encoding is not an issue as the emulator handles all of that.

Thanks in advance,
