James T. Harris-a black conservative
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gLs6o3J6jTA The reason i made this thread is because James t Harris has been getting alot of slack from African-Americans because he is not supporting Obama (and hes from Wisconsin lol). African-Americans are angry that he is not supporting the first back canidate for the US presidency. http://hotair.com/archives/2008/10/1...backing-obama/ read some of these comments. Some saying he was a 'plant' from the McCain campaign. If you didnt know, he is a conservative talk show host. So i think its bull to think he was a plant. What do you think? Should he still support Obama? I am not black, so i dont know how they feel. But i agree that what you believe is right for the country should matter most of all. Im sure that all African-Americans are proud that a black man is running for the presidency, im sure we all are. it really shows how far this country has come. "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." - Dr. Martin Luther King jr. |

No, he certainly shouldn't support Obama because he's black.
I also wouldn't expect any rational person to support Alan Keyes because he's black. If he's a conservative, then I suppose he should support McCain. Although, of course, I don't personally agree with that... But you guys know that... Anyway, I don't really understand your intent with this thread, SeanMi... I mean, can't black people have the same right to make a bad choice for president just like white people can? What's your point? |

if you dont like it, then dont comment.
all i was trying to do is report what has been on the news lately. and discuss if you should support a canidate if he/she is the same race/gender as you. |
