Guitar Hero: World Tour vs. Rock Band 2

Now, I know that there have been quite a few threads talking about these games before, but now that they are both out for the Wii, I want to ask for your help...
Which game is better for the Wii, and why?

Now, before you respond, please, DON'T use tracklists as an argument, because they're both good and bad in their own ways, and everyone has different tastes.

The reason I ask is this...
I have GH3 for the Wii, so I already have the GH controller.
I have heard on ign.com that Rock Band 2 will be compatible with this guitar as well...
So, because of money constrictions, I will only be able to purchase one of these games full band sets (if they were cross compatible I wouldn't be having this debate...)

So, is there anyone who has played one or both of them?
Can anyone suggest a review site that weighs these factors?
What do you guys think? Which is a more rockin' band experience?

My friend has both but I have to say GH4 is ALOT better! It has awesome DLC Music, you can use the old GH3 control for it & the drum set is amazing!!

Trouble is an unknown quantity at this point

I'd personally just look up a complete track list, find the one with the songs I like the most, and get that. They are both probably pretty equal game play wise, they now pretty much come with the exact same stuff, so it all comes down to the track list.

Though you tried to dismiss that factor, in the end, it is kind of the deciding one.

And referring to skreamo, the only reason he said GH4 was better was because of some of the songs and the drum set, but that is only a matter of opinion. This is something you gotta decide for yourself.

Ok, well, I like both track lists, so that's my trouble.
Plus, I like that Rock Band let's you download the entire first game, plus has way more DLC.

But, I'm a really big TOOL fan, and Mars Volta, etc. etc. and they're only on GH4.

So, songs aside (I like em both, like I said...) are there any other advantages/disadvantages for the Wii version?
GH has the Mii faceoff thing, but I hear the band mode has some problems in it...

Plus, I've also heard that Rock Band might get the all Beatles game in 2009 because Harmonix and MTV won the rights...

So....I'm kinda at a loss.

I've also been considering buying the old Rock Band game with instruments for the Wii off of Ebay (cause I don't have it) and then just buying the disc for RB2.

Part of me has even been considering getting an XBox360 just so I could get the GH4 instruments and buy both games...

I dunno...I want em both!!

Whatever you do DON'T buy Rock Band for Wii, not sure about RB2. Wii version lacks all the most awesome features of 360 RB, which takes away about all of its replay value except for those track packs that have been released.

Well, I have GH3 for the Wii, and I still play the crap out of it...even though that doesn't have DLC.
And I only want RB1 so I can port all those songs to RB2. What I meant was I'm thinking about buying the old instruments because they're cheaper now...

I've settled....

The winner is..........................
GUITAR HERO WORLD TOUR!!

Reasons...
1.) The songlist: I compared them side by side, and I simply like GH4's songlist better...TOOL, Hotel California, Jimi Hendrix, Mars Volta, Interpol (the better song) and all the cool playable characters...
2.) The Mii Jam mode and the music creator: I don't plan on making too much music myself (looks hard), but you can download up to FIFTY created songs from other people online....suck THAT, Rock Band...
3.) The Instruments: the drums look way cooler (and I heard the RB2 cymbal expansion ports glitch...) the guitar has that slider thing, and I already have the GH3 guitar...
4.) Ozzy, TOOL's involvement (art direction from TOOL...how cool is that!), and the more in depth create a character mode...

So there...I guess that's it.
Hopefully Rock Band modifies itself so it can use the GH instruments, because, all in all, I want both games....
