TES3: Morrowind

This is an older game, and there's a new addition to it's family called Oblivion, but many of morrowind's players prefer it over the new version. So, I ask, has anyone else played this game?

For those who haven't, it's for the xbox and pc. It's an open-ended, non-linear RPG that lets you do basically whatever you want. Much less restricted than other more well known RPGs. Of course it has it's downfalls because if you kill the wrong person, you can't beat some quests or paths in the game. Furthermore, people have logged more than 100 hours on it, and even more with the expansions.

Just thought I'd share. It's really a great game, even if the graphics aren't 100% perfect.

Ah yes, I used to have this on the Xbox, great game. I now I have Oblivion for 360, thought it was interesting. I'm looking into getting it again for PC, GOTY.

I'm not positive on this, but was fast traveling kinda difficult when you needed to get somewhere for say, a quest? Didn't you have to either travel by boat to other coasts, or find some flying thing, etc.?

In morrowind, you could use boats, silt striders, (I hope I spelled that right) guild guides, recall, and intervention scrolls. besides that you can use a band you get from tribunal to teleport, or create a cheat spell to boost your soeed insanely high.

I'd honestly like it on the pc, but I first found it on xbox so I just stuck with it.
