Siberianhusky89 We have a Nintendo Fan in the Making

Chrono Trigger

The King of Fanboys in the SNES World.

Chrono Trigger: HYA SLAVES! *Whips Fanboy 1*

Fanboy: Yes sir! *Pours Chrono Trigger a glass of water*

Chrono Trigger: SLAVE 2!

Fanboy 2: Yes sir *Sucks down on Chrono Trigger's dick*

Ah... Those crazy fools...

Don't get me wrong, the game is really great! I never hear way too much rant about it, but if there is, it seems like these guys are slaves to it or something and they can't disobey their master because they'll get the death sentence or something.

Now then, moving on. Chrono Trigger is a great SNES game, I'm not sure if it deserves as much praise as it's given, but it did make it on it's own. It's a turn based RPG that uses a wait bar system. The graphics are unique though, instead of watching the enemy and your party seperated from the left and right part of the screen, it doesn't really change from when you're roaming around, instead they just pull out their weapons and are ready to fight.

You have the option to choose between Attacking, Using Techniques/Magic, Using Items, pretty much the basics of making an RPG along with of course, running away from a battle (which is hardly ever something you'd have to do). I'm not saying that the game is extremely easy, I'm just saying that the game isn't hard, like, at all. I mean, there might be spots here and there that you might have trouble with, but the chances of you dieing in this game are pretty low at times (There is a couple acceptions where you have a high chance of dieing at least once though.)

Moving on, Chrono trigger is more of a story based game (like most RPGs) and uses a kind of... I might get hated by people for saying this, but, it uses an anime style somewhat. The story actually kinda helps to sucking you in though and actually helps with the most unique part of the game, ready? Here it goes... You can travel through time. Isn't that sweet? Anyhow, eventually in the game, what you do in the past gets to affect the future.

Moving on so I don't spoil much more. In the game, your characters (Most of them) can eventually cast magic, and they can only specialize in one part of magic, now then another beauty of this game. You can mix your techniques together with other teammates (It automatically does it for you when they get certain techniques). Sweet eh? Anyhow, one more beauty of this game.

One of the best feautures in my opinion is the minigames they put. I love little minigames that are actually fun within the game. It's one of my favorite parts of video games, that's why I think Super Mario RPG was such a blast, so much to do, so much to see, so much to love about the game.

The game is short (for an RPG), however, this is probably why. Mattering on when you beat the last boss, your ending changes. There are various endings in the game, which add up to how they impact the ending of the game because of the changes that happened to the future and such. Anyhow, the game has alot of stuff in it, monsters verse humans and all, and it gives more of a "Monsters can be bad or good" type of thing. Video time because I'm too lazy to continue plus majorly, I don't want to spoil too much

That's actually entirely anime, the dude who designed the Dragon Ball characters designed the characters in this game, hence why Chrono looks a lot like Goku.

Thanks friend, however I'm quite aware of that, which is why I was about to make another post (Possibly) that had Akira working on it.

Man I wish they continued this game in a series much like Final Fantasy. Hands down my favorite game. The story is so intense and the nerd in me loves the time traveling!

They did sorta... They made a game for the Playstation called Chrono Cross which was similar to Chrono Trigger and had a similar concept apparently. Anyhow, I'm not sure if there was any continuation after that...
