Last NES repair?
I got my NES repaired by Nintendo in 2001. The repaired system even came with a brand posters for Super Mario Bros 3 and the then obsolete Nintendo Fan Club. In hindsight, 2001, really wasn't that long after NES was still a current system (to put in in perspective, Kirby's Adventure on NES was just as old in 2001 as Metroid Prime and Wind Waker on GC are to us now), but it was still pretty long after the NES was dead does anyone know if nintendo fixing NES systems after 2001?

wow, I didn't know they would even fix the NES. your best bet would be like to go to a retro gamer store if there is one in your area.

They stopped fixing them after 31 October 2007 due to shortage of parts. The end of an era.

My dad used to fix mine, but we ended up buying 3 from garage sales anyway. My brother is taking care of it now!

cool, I didn't know that! I bought a NES at a Goodwill Superstore, but it was broken. It took me about an hour to fix. I had to take everything out, clean it, and then I got a paperclip and pulled each individual pin inside loose. It then worked!

i find the problem is nearly always the games. they just get dirty, no matter how hard i try to keep them clean.
luckily a the q-tip/rubbing alcohol combo does the trick every time |
