Well I got this thing called "Games N Music for DS" at Walmart, and it was quite a letdown. But this was before I knew about R4.

Oh ok, does it play Roms?

I also heard of a thing called Top Toy for DS, which is apparently better than R4.

And M3, thats the same as R4...

It can only play .nds type games.

You can play Doom on it though.

That doesn't sound too bad then..

What format did the movies have to be?

On R4 they need to be .dpg.

That's only if you're using moonshell, which you should be using anyway on any card.

jax90 We have a Nintendo Fan in the Making

I believe the R4DS allows you to play backups of DS games. You have to buy a SD card to stick into the cartridge. From your PC you just put the games you downloaded onto the card, stick the card into the cartridge, and then stick the cartridge into your DS.
You can find games to download on the net. I don't have one yet, but this is what I understand it does.

You basically get a micro SD card, and put stuff like games and applications and music and movies on it, and it runs them. Its so simple.

Oh, cool. Where do you think I can get one, and how much would it cost? But wait, how do you put an SD card into your computer?
