Series that were Misrepresented

For one, there are alot of Mario characters. As much as Mario is my favorite franchise, I feel it may have been a bit overrepresented. Yes, Wario, Yoshi, and Donkey Kong are separate franchises but that's still Mario universe. Since all those characters are in now, I don't want any to leave.

F-Zero I think was underrepresented and somebody should've been with Falcon this time.

Metroid was underrepresented as Samus is still alone.

Glad they gave Ness a buddy even if Lucas doesn't know him

I know Sonic was lucky to get in since he's non Nintendo but he should've had Knuckles at least.

Your right about Sonic. He is non-Nintendo, but should atleast have had Knuckles. I wonder how Nintendo would introduce the Sonic series, if they owned him. Hmm...

Snake should not be in there... Metal Gear Solid is not owned by Nintendo.

Neither is sega, and sonic sucks anyway, who wants to run around collecting floating rings for their life..

You forgot olimar, they should have put louie with him, or even a bulborb xD.

alright.. here i go.. O:

Mario Bros: TBQH I dont have much of a problem with the amount of mario characters.. theyve got all the important ones and it IS nintendos main series.. the biggest thing is that in comparison to the others its over-represented.. however if the others were corrected, itd be fine..

Legend of Zelda: Another one i was pleased with.. maybe one more character (vaati, midna) would have done it justice, but overall i see little to complain about....

Pokemon: Now... I hate to sound biased, but i really think pkmn should have the most characters.. the reason is, pkmn has always been emphasizing the vast amount of species; thats one of the things people love about it.. My point is, having a lot of pkmn in would represent that part of the franchise.... I think there should be 3-5 more pkmn characters...

Kirby: I think this was done perfectly as well.. Really not much to say; small but loveable franchise, small amount of loveable characters...

Metroid: Probably the most mis-represented series in the game... A classic franchise that ranks in tons of money and the US loves gets on character... I understand that theres not many characters to put in, but really.. Dark Samus, Ridley and any of the hunters would have been PERFECT.. but for whatever reason, theyre not in...

F-Zero: This one im a bit unsure of... F-zero is a great series.. but wow do the characters suck.. lol.. I suppose ONE more character from the franchise would do it justice.. I mean, theres not a huge amount of games, but its still a classic...

Fire Emblem: Compared to the huge number of games and the huge amount of popularity this series has in Japan (and growing in the US) this series is under-represented.. The reps it DOES have are good ones.. just.. not enough... 2-3 more would be great..
EarthBound: XD now my friend would kill me for saying this, but i think this series is represented fine.. 3 games and 2 characters.. normally id think this is WAY too much, but the series is a great one at that..

Pikmin: 2 games made just recently.. 1 other choice for a character.. Yeah, i have no complaints..
Kid Icarus: XD.. uh... yeah this is fine..

Golden Sun: This one perplexed me.. I thought FOR SURE Isaac would be play-able.. 2 legendary RPGs and a massive fan-base.. Yeah, Isaac really should have been playable..

Custom Robo: Another series i was surprised to be excluded.. Ray01 would have made a great character, plus the series is relatively popular.. Its about on the same scale as pikmin really.. I guess its just odd that olimar got in yet these other characters didnt...

Other: ROB should be out, G&W is fine.. simple as that.. one deserves a spot the other doesnt... Saki might have made a good choice, but he DOES only have one game..

Third-Party: Now, this one i dont blame them too much one.. third-party characters take a TON of work to get in, so we should be thankful with what we have.. That said, wheres megaman? XD.. kinda feeling a lack of mega-ness in mah brawlz...

I wanted a Hunter for Samus to play with. Weavel would have been my first choice.

The Custom robo's can't really be included because of their size. If they ate the Poison Mushroom you wouldn't be able to hit them.

Also the only reason Snake is in Brawl is because Hideo Kojima begged Nintendo to have Snake in Melee, but the roster was already filled. Kojima then released MGS2 for Gamecube as a subtle nudge for more reason for Snake to be on there. Nintendo felt bad about not having Snake on Melee, that they promised Kojima he would be in the next one.

size isnt canon to brawl... olimar is supposed to be the size of a gamecube memory card... pikachu and squirtle are about 1 foot tall... jigglypuff is 8 inches tall, i believe.. but theyre larger than that in brawl..
