Sm Mario Super Mario 64(N64) - Review

to Super_Zina's review for the 3D Mario game, Super Mario 64 for the N64! I hope you likes it!

Introduction
Welcome to the world of Super Mario 64! You're up for an adventure through many levels and secrets! Killing bad guys, climbing cliffs, and more! Another great Mario game to play!

Gameplay/Controls - 9/10
You have many worlds to explore so you need to know Mario's moves, pros and cons. Mario has a life meter and a life count, be sure to keep track of it, you have lots of enemies too. Each of them have their own way of being defeated and bosses too, sometimes if you defeat an enemy in a special way you get special stuff. You have a camera too, you can zoom in and out but be careful the camera can get stuck behind something and you can't see your self, so move around some and the camera will come back too you. Have fun and don't try too hard!

Storyline - 10/10
You're our hero, Mario and you have to save a princess, Princess Peach Toadstool. In the beginning you get a letter from her saying she made you a cake, you run up to the castle bridge and a little turtle with glasses on a cloud greets you and tells you about your camera system, then you come into the castle only to be treated to a threat from our villain, Bowser. He's the big orange turtle with spikes and he has kidnapped Peach and taken the castle's most important items, the power stars. Bowser used the power stars to make the paintings in the castle a.k.a the worlds you have to win. You must save the princess and defeat Bowser, Mario's the only hope. Who knows what Bowser could do with the stars but, Bowser didn't know about all the stars in the castle grounds. to you Bowser!

Graphics/Sound - 10/10
The graphics are pretty good for the first game ever made for Nintendo 64, the water splashes when you jump in or out, the fire in some courses it bubbles and pops and dribbles and sops, in snowy areas, Mario doesn't fall asleep if you leave him alone, he squats and tries to warm himself. There are sandy places too! Mario can die in it so don't stay too long. The sound and music really do bring out the game too, enemies have their own sounds and so do items. Some special items have their own music too, and you can here the charge of sound when Mario's running on different surfaces such as grass, sand, etc.

PlayTime/Replayability - 10/10
If you are really good you can beat this game within a day, but it's way more fun to take your time. It's really fun to play your favorite levels over and over again too!

Final Recommendation: Buy or Don't Bye?
Buy. This is one of the best Nintendo 64 games ever! to you Mario!

Though I don't believe the storyline deserves a 10/10, this was a pretty good game.
(BTW, the "little turtle with glasses on a cloud" is a lakitu, which are a kind of koopa")

I know that. I just said that to be in my own style. Or, I would have, if I wrote the review. But I didn't.

ya i gotta say, how does the story in this game get a 10?

a fun game, but was pretty overrated for me. hasn't really aged too well like a classic should either.

^ It was a classic. The story was a major difference from Super Mario Bros.

i'm sorry but i really don't the story is an improvement. i'm not saying this is a weak point of the game or anything, it certainly doesn't need to be anything other than "save the princess." but it still of course is "save the princess," just like in the original. only difference i can see is this time she's not in another castle; this time she's in the one right in front of you.

Your half right and wrong, well, to me. Your right about the save the princess part, but your not right about the storyline hasn't improved. Don't forget about the many starts you have to collect. The worlds you go to, which are way more different than in the SMB series.

Ok, well, the storyline han't changed much. But, something that really affects the storyline has changed, can't really figure out what it is. Hmm...
