Have you played Pokemon Platinum?

I yesterday got a pre release copy of Pokemon Platinum and I have to say it is a great game. Of course it is the same basic story and adventure but there are a few great little ad ons. Like the Wi-FI Plaza and new graphics. Have you played it? What do you think?

You were way too harsh with the other ones. I don't trust your Pokemon reviews anymore XD.

Nah, Diamond/Peral totally deserves what it gets from me, believe it or not.

The other games were great, but maybe not Ruby/Sapphire. I have caught them and played almost all the Pokemon games except for uhhh....I guess I played them all...lol. I am aswell a bit of a Pokemon fan, but after D/P, I have a feeling Platinum won't be all so great. :/

I love Pokemon and that is probably why I like the game. But then again it is Pokemon one of the most popular games in history. Every game has been very popular and I am sure this one will be to.

I actually feel the only reason Pokemon is the (2nd most selling Nintendo franchise?) is because more of younger audience of Nintendo play it because they think it's cute and what now. Don't get me wrong, I used to LOVE Pokemon when I was a young Nintendo fan aswell, and to be honest, I kinda liked it over Zelda, but not just because I'm older do I don't like Pokemon now, it's just that nothing new of appeal is coming out, and I feel like Platinum won't have much new aswell :/

I know how you feel, for some reason I don't really like Pokemon that much anymore, but I still wanna play the games, I don't know if it's because the old great memories with the older games or just that the games are better than the TV Show.

I've read a review in Game Informer and plan to play through both Pearl(Already beat Diamond and want to keep all my pokemon) at the same time I play through Platinum, cause it said you won't notice the small detail change until you play them together, like the difference in clothing and grass, and other small animations.
