Cartidges or CDs/Chips?

Do you prefer games on CDs and Chips better or Cartridges

The downside to cartidges: HAVING TO BLOW ALL THE AIR IN YOUR THROAT INTO THEM JUST SO THE GAME WILL WORK

The downside to CDs/Chips: CDs can be broken or scratched up, and the DS chips are easily lost.

Overall, I'm glad games are on CDs and Chips now. Just so I wont have to blow into annoying cartridges. Plus DS chips are durable. I had one DS game left in my pants pocket and washed and dryed, yet it still worked! It was bent so I had to tailor it with a knife, but it still worked!

Yeah, I like the way that games are heading. But I must say, the DS 'chip' is called a 'cartridge'.

exactly
and the games can be saved to it, no memory card or system harddrive needed for game save files.

That's only when you don't look after them...

Don't you need a memory pak for N64 games?

Well.... cartdridges (specifically the N64 cartdridges) had their own internal memory.. not a bad idea...

But, i still prefer CDs and the DS chips.. theyre more efficient, and i also like the idea of having something containing all the memory (ie; memory card)..

...yeah.. id agree.. i prefer the way things are heading as well...

Memory cards are so stupid, they are small, and if you lose them, that's it, you have start all over again. Cartridges are big enough not to be lost, and even if they are, can be seen easily.

Oh yeah I forgot cartidges save their own memory.
But if you lose the cartridge it sucks.

But it's easy to found in terms of size, and memory cards blend into stuff very well, so if your looking dead at it in a bunch of wires, you can;t tell it's there. xD
