Two Failed Launches Plague Wii.

The first figure comes from the U.S. trade association, NPD Group, which paints a bleak picture of MADWORLD's debut. During March, we managed to sell only 66,000 copies of the game in the U.S. market.

SEGA has since commented on the launch and insure that there are still plans to make MADWORLD for a series. The publisher, however, that the game 'resonate with the audience' before plans are implemented.

The news about the two game launches will follow in the wake of statements made by Nintendo itself, which describes the Wii's current market as problematic.

Hmm, honestly I expected this.

They better get their asses into gear, or else they're going to have some trouble down the line.

Don't really care. Gamers are tired of gimmicks from Wii, and many are starting to lose their trust in the system.

Wii owners want this in games:
good games
plenty of hrs. in the game, replaying the same game for collectibles doesn't count
decent graphics
regular controls, no waving around like an idiot.
it seems developers have forgotten how to do this for nintendo. they do it for PS3 and 360, the Wii is capable of awesome games too just not the graphics. with all the people that own a Wii don't you think that Assassins Creed would sell? Bioshock? sure it won't look as nice but who cares, your selling your games to a LARGER audience.
it just seems oblivious to me, duh!

well, i didn't see any advertisment of MadWorld on TV, so its not being marketed at all, besides on forums or Nintendo Power. And even then, the game was commented on being too short. Not worth $50 imo.
SEGA better advertise The Conduit in order to get it selling.

I think the word "plague" is a bit too extreme.
