Electronic Surveillance

Is the government watching what you when your on the computer? Is it right or is it a violation of our rights?

I think it's a violation hands down, it's almost just like having a policeman go in your home and check what you have there.

No, the government isn't, unless they get access to your computer because they have reason to suspect you're doing something illegal.

Also, if your computer isn't a personal family one, they have access to it whenever.

Yes, they're watching everything you do. That's what the Patriot Act was about. Computers and cell phones, and especially anything that uses Bluetooth, are all extremely insecure. As a matter of fact, people can use your IP address to figure out in what area you live, and these people don't even have to know you.

Tesla is an unknown quantity at this point

everything is being watched I should know they watched me for years. they discredited me too. I built many devices that would have given you all zero point energy.

Yup. Some very clever people work for the government who can access your webcam like that *snaps fingers*. It's so they can catch terrorists and criminals. That's what the American government does, I'm not sure about our Australian government.
You don't need to worry for three reasons: One, I'm fairly sure they only do it for people they suspect of illegal crimes. Two, if you're not doing anything illegal, then don't worry, all they know is what you look like, and you provide that information to thousands of people every day.

EDIT: Three, if you're not doing anything illegal, then why are you worried?

Not really Krystal. An experienced programmer could easily implant a command into the webcam firmware to simply not turn the light on when they use it.

Ah, beat me to it. I had a friend do that to his modded Wii, to make the blue light stop turning on when he got a message. Said it used to keep him up at night when he was trying to sleep and he didn't feel like getting out of bed to take care of it, so he just put in a command to make it stop coming on.

Yeah a good example would be in Yes Man. When the FBI or whatever thinks he's a terrorist because he took up Korean and learned to fly an airplane online XD.
