Opinions about the SSE

For all of us who has played Brawl, we should know what happened in subspace emmisary. The question is, how well did you think it did.

Pros:
-It allowed a real story mode in the game as opposed to Melee's simplistic adventure mode
-I allowed characters to interact with one another
-Boss Battles was a great idea
-Cutscenes

Cons:
-Way too random(The game takes place on a random island, random events)
-Too Generic
-Boss Battles were too easy
-Lack of Supporting Characters(Patentula... that's it)
-Mediocre story
-Enemies and area represent Nintendo in no way whatsoever(again, it's just some random island, and the ememies and most bosses were those lame primids, and Tabuu was pretty dumb)
-Great Maze

In my opinion, it was a great idea, but it was horribly executed.

It was as if they couldn't think of a proper story, it was all random crap, with characters just appearing out of no where. And the only enemies relating to Nintendo were crap like Goomba's (if i remember correctly) and the bosses (except for tabuu)

Great Maze was a stupid idea... so you do all the levels... and find you've only completed half the game to find that you still have to REDO ALL THE LEVELS >_<
it feels as though nintendo ran out of ideas and thought of making players redo it all to add some length to the game... it's pointless huh?

GET SOME NEW IDEAS NINTENDO

I liked the plot and the cutscenes and seeing the Nintendo characters interacting with each other, but the gameplay was repetitive. And I agree it should have featured some of the supporting characters in the cutscenes like Waluigi, Daisy, Paula, Jeff, Poo , etc the playable characters' friends and supporting cast.

I think it was a great storyline, but I had trouble following it... Perhaps more of a Zelda style where people talk (in substitles).

actually, yeah... subtitles would've helped... but then again... most playable characters in the games generally don't talk... eg. Mario... he says his "mama mia" but generally doesn't talk...
then you have yoshi's inability to talk... aswell as many other characters... but idk... subtitles would be awesome x3
