N00b question time :p

I'm having trouble trying to installing Battlefield 1942: the Complete Collection into my computer, when it says to install the product/serial# I use the number in the barcoded area, but it always rejects the number.

Question is: What am I doing wrong? Am I using the right Key?
I'm really wanting to play this game but I can't get the game to work.
Please don't make fun of me for this

In most cases, the product and serial code #s are separate from
the barcode numbers.

There should be a sticker/label with some headings
that say "p/n" or "s/n" or the whole heading.

If you "Explore" the disc,
it might also contain the product key and serial number.

Just browse around,
and enter any number found on the case,
you will eventually hit it. Unless that is you misplaced
or lost the keys.

Rockn.

Ya, you don't use the bar-code as your serial number. You should be able to find it in the box where you got the game. If you can't find one, you should just look around Google to see if you can find one

And this is one of the reasons why piracy is so popular.
