Odd N64 Question.

I'm not sure if this is the right question too ask, but I'm going to give it a go anyways since this has been troubling me and I haven't played my N64 since.

Its kinda odd, but I got a quarter stuck IN my N64, the place where the games are put in. Now I tried getting it out but it isn't working.

Is this quarter a possible threat? If I play the game will a fire start or will my game system be in jeopardy? Or will the quarter most likely not effect it?

Odd, but true.

use a magnet, your parents might have a thin rod magnet that looks like a car radio antenae. I used one on my Xbox. Try a magnetic screwdriver if you don't have that...

Wouldn't that possibly damage the system? I'll try it out thought if its helpful.

You should take it apart and then get the quarter out, since magnets sound a little damaging.

Doesn't seem that safe of an idea to me. :\

I'll go with the crowd and say try taking it a part or even better yet, stick a game in and see what happens. I'd doubt a fire would happen.
