Games that mean something to you

Everyone has their favorite games, and games they consider ebtter than others, but we all also have games that we hold near and dear to our hearts for some reason or another. Sometimes, it's because we were playing them when something in particular happened, and sometimes it's simply because of the memories that game creates within your mind. What are some of your cherished games?

One of my most cherished games is Animal Crossing for the Gamecube. I elaborated in another thread, but this game(and the gamecube in general) brought me clsoer to who is now my best friend.

another is pokemon Silver. Not only was it my first Pokemon game, but the majority of my memories with my cosuin have somehting to do with it.

Call of Duty 3 because it was the first game I got to play with my dad that he actually liked(and that wasn't Pacman)

Next would be Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, It was not only my first Zelda, game, it was the first game I ever played

Paper Mario, and Spiderman 2

Paper Mario because it was the first non-pokemon RPG, and I when I had no games to play besides dumb ol' Mario 64. So I was kinda forced to love it.

Spiderman 2 because me and my cousin stay up all night so much just for this game, and is still one of my favorite games.

Spiderman 2 - Because it was a really fun game, and unlike most film-based games, it didn't suck.

Gears of War - Because it was the first game that I bought for my XBox 360.

Timesplitters: Future Perfect - Because my friend and I used to love playing this game for hours and hours, and it still remains and one of my favourite games of all time.

Perfect Dark, it was the only game me and my brother ever played together, and when I downloaded it onto my 360, and I was playing online multiplayer, I stumbled upon a room with my bro, who I haven't talk to in years since he left for college.

Pokemon in general has been a cornerstone of a pastime for my friends and i. we're still catching em all to this day

personally though, the Metal Gear Solid series was a gateway to many great films and games; its influences are so rich

also the works of Tetsuya Mizuguchi

Paper Mario, because when my grandfather visited us from another city for Christmas, we played that game. I don't have many memories of him but playing that was one of the few.
