Hmm.. If you already have the ROMs in one computer, why put them in the other? Might as well use your new one for newer things, such as ROMs you don't have, iTunes media, etc.!

From what I've heard, Macs don't run emulators as well as windows.
I myself do not know this from experience however.

Not anymore. They can run Dolphin. - I have a link to a youtube video but I'm restricted since I'm a new member.
I'm fairly certain that if his Mac is new, it would be strong enough to run Project64, even with onboard graphics.

the point of my new computer was getting rid of the old one. I can asure you that a rock and two gears would work soooooo much better than the old one.

Core i3 + 4GB RAM on any system will be fast enough to run most emulators.
You might struggle with dolphin though.
Do you use onboard graphics? Or do you have another one? If you have onboard you'll be limited to N64 emulators, unless your onboard graphics have an awesome chipset....

EDIT;

Was this resolved?

If you want one for the Nintendo 64, sixtyforce works good. It's also incredibly easy to fully register it just by looking up a code on Youtube.
As long as your computer isn't shit emulators should fine Windows or Mac.

just in general, applications on macs don't work as well as on windows, due to creators being lazy. most creators just appeal to the windows users, considering that's the type of computers that most people have. anything with a mac version is normally an out-dated version or just a half-assed glitchy version
