The Career Path of an Actor
I've noticed lately that in high school (especially in mine), people don't take you seriously when you respond to their question of what you wan to major in as "I want to major in Musical theater, the arts, film-making", etc. I go to a school where all of the future doctors, neurologists, biologists, and political people are going. People such as musicians and actors stand out. Some people take it seriously. Others call me 'Famous', and remind me not to forget about them once I make it to the bigtime. I knew they're only kidding, until today, when I genuinely thought they were friends with someone special. The oool thing is I have a counselor that's really helping me find schools that can seriously benefit me. On the other hand, people call it a 'pipe-dream', the biggest and most common one. SO, taking in consideration that everything should have a back up plan, I've also taken "Social Services" as an area of interest. So I'll double-major, to beome either; A. An Actor, or B., a School Counselor.
Is anyone else considering any of these?
