Video Game Systems You've Never Even Heard Of!

This is where we shall talk about video game systems most of you never have even heard of!

Ever hear of the NEC PC-FX?

It's okay if you've never heard of it. If you don't like this topic, do keep away from it.

the Commodore 64 is one of the most famous old-school computers of all time, and now they're breathing life back into it with modern computer technology. I happen to have an old Commodore 64 that I got as a gift from one of my teachers.

hmmph, this topic's getting pointless with some of you having heard of consoles like the PC-FX, but have you ever heard of the Capcom CPS Changer?

the Capcom CPS Changer was a video game console developed by Capcom near the mid-1990s, intended to compete with SNK's Neo-Geo, in terms of bringing the arcade to the living room. The main console is small, while the cartridges are huge. Because the CPS Changer was essentially a SuperGUN, a device for playing arcade motherboards on your television set. the cartridges are essentially arcade motherboards put into special plastic shells for home use, a concept re-used in the CPS-II system. From what I've heard from NGF, those consoles and their games were available through mail order. The system also has SFC-like ports for compatibility with SFC controllers. When you buy a CPS Changer for a whopping 30,000 yen, you get a system, two CP Fighter joysticks, A/V cables, power supply, and Street Fighter II Turbo. Other games were sold separately for an additional 20,000 yen. also, there were only 11 games released for it, and it didn't sell to well. The last game released for the system was a back-ported version of Street Fighter Alpha 1.

the CPS Changer is super-rare nowadays, a collector's item. I've seen one on ebay once!
