Exercising

I never knew it'd be so fun. I've had a gym membership over a year now, but I've always put off going because sitting in my chair and being lazy seemed like the best thing to do. Today, I decided to not be my lethargic self and hit the gym for some much-needed exercise. Went on the strider machine, and next thing I knew I strided (whatever you call it) 7000 steps, walked 7.7x miles, and burned 823.xx calories. After the initial burn wore off, I felt as though I could stride forever, I just didn't feel exhausted at all. The only reason I stopped was because I didn't want to make my legs so sore that I wouldn't be able to walk tomorrow. Afterwards, I felt great, and I mean great. I ran a stop sign in front of a school and didn't even give a crap because I was still feeling the rush of getting more exercise in one day than I've gotten since January 1 - today. After that experience, I think I'll start going more often. Not really sure what any of you can say about this, I just felt that I needed to write it.

Also, inb4 cool story bro.

Well you took the wise decision by stopping. Usually after I exercise extensively it's a pain to get off the bed, while getting up and down a staircase is torture. It's not much tbh but I can't take a lot of exercise for whatever reason.

Anyways keep going to the gym. If you don't get tired often you could attempt athletics or stuff.

I had a gym membership in Edmonton. I don't now but I walk like an hour a day and we still have a bike I try to use every 1-3 days and I get a good workout from that so long as I go really fast for like 30-60 mins. I miss real biking but drivers suck here and it never worked as well with all the stopping and what not.

My mom and my oldest brother are big health and exercise freaks. They are big on it lol. From what I know, some basic rules to actually losing weight when exercising is eat after you exercise, and not before. Another one my brother claims and I'm not sure if this is true or not but you have to exercise constantly at a good rate for at least half an hour before any fat actually starts getting burnt off. So if you're going for as long as you're going then you're doing great.
