Medabots Discussion

This is where we'll talk about Medabots (Medarot in Japan). I'll also put up pictures of Medabots. Keep in mind that there will be pictures of Medabots you've never even heard of! So do tell me what you think of the pictured Medabots anyways. I'll also put up the specifications for the Medabots as well.

also the terminology for Medabots is different between the English-speaking and Japanese audiences

Medabot = Medarot

Medafighter = Medarotter

Ro-battle = Robottle

Meda-watch = Medarotch

Rubberrobo Gang = Roborobo Gang

Kilobots = Death Medarots

Medaparts = Parts

not only that, but the names of certain Medabots are also different between versions as are Medabot type names.

For Example: Sumilidon = Smilodonad

the same with certain human characters.

and now, for a Medabot you've never heard of!

Anzudo Beetle
Hercules Beetle/Kabuto-Type Medabot
Model No. KBT-9BX
Gender: Female
Head Part: End Waltz
Right Arm: Last Concert
Left Arm: End Recital
Legs Part: Musical

Medabots was popular for like 4 months when I was 12, then it disappeared into obscurity.

Medarot 4 appearance
anime appearance

Grain (Gryphon in the English dub of Medabots Spirit)
ArchDevil-Type Medabot (Super Devil-Type Kilobot/Death Medarot in the anime)
Model No. ADV-0
Gender: Male
Head Part: Demolish
Right Arm: Drone
Left Arm: Ruin
Legs Part: Source
Medachange Capable: Yes
Note: In the anime, Kam Kamazaki (Kokuryuu in the Japanese version), used his Blakbeetle's Neo EX Medal in this uber-powerful Kilobot/Death Medarot in one of his sinister anti-Medabot schemes, but Gryphon went berzerk and started destroying the Kilobot factory (Blakbeetle feared that it would happen). It took the efforts of Ikki, Metabee, and the others to stop it, and as the factory fell apart, Blakbeetle (who somehow managed to regain some control) managed to get Kam the heck outta there. This fearsome monster of a Medabot also appeared as the final boss of Medarot 4, and you'll have to fight it using the ArchAngel-Type Medabot Particle, along with your other Medabots.

This is MasterBeetle, a combined form of the Medabots Arcbeetle-Dash
and TyrrellBeetle that appeared in Medabots Spirit, used mostly for important
Ro-battles, like the battle against Blossomail for instance.

Arcbeetle-Dash (Arc-Dash for short)
Hercules Beetle/Kabuto-Type Medabots
Model No. KBT-6 (KBT-7BX in Medarot Navi, KBT-11220-3 in the anime, similar to the Kantaroth)
Gender: Male
Head Part: Appendix
Right Arm: Scatter
Left Arm: Sprinkle (I know, silly name for a Medapart used by a bad-ass KBT-Type)
Legs Part: Blazer
Medachange Capable: Yes
Note: Arcbeetle-Dash, along with its KWG-series equivilent Tyrrellbeetle, can combine to form the mighty MasterBeetle

Tyrrellbeetle
Stag Beetle/Kuwagata-Type Medabot
Model No. KWG-6 (KWG-7BX in Medarot Navi)
Gender: Male
Head Part: Squire
Right Arm: Ripper
Left Arm: Hanger
Legs Part: Departure
Medachange Capable: Yes
Note: Tyrrellbeetle, along with Arc-Dash, can combine to form the mighty MasterBeetle!

Granbeetle
Hercules Beetle/Kabuto-Type Medabot
Model no. KBT-0NF
Gender: Male
Head Part: Projector
Right Arm: Circle Shoot
Left Arm: Pivot Shoot
Legs Part: Slalom
Medachange Capable: Yes
Note: Most Medabots in the KBT series usually have a Missile attack (Metal Beetle, Metabee, Kantaroth, Bayonet, Saikachi) or a Beam/Laser attack (Arcbeetle, Arcbeetle-Dash) on their Head parts, but Granbeetle is an exception; he has a Rifle attack on his Head part, the Projector. Though it tends to miss (especially when it is fired at a really fast Medabot, or if Granbeetle is at Fluctuation status), the Projector's Rifle attack is as powerful as other KBT missiles, and can deal chain damage.

Blazermate
BLZ/Schoolgirl-Type Medabot
Model no. BLZ-0NF
Gender: Female
Head Part: Best
Right Arm: Assistant
Left Arm: Spare Parts
Legs Part: Flare Skirt
Note: This Medabot cannot be an enemy to be fought

Meda-Mars
Mars-Type Medabot
Model no. MRS-0
Gender: Female
Head Part: Volcaney
Right Arm: Mounthelmen
Left Arm: Mountborder
Legs Part: Mustouch
Note: Part of a series of Planet-Type Medabots and Solar System-Type Medabots.

you silly goose!

Succulis
Succubus-Type Medabot
Model no. SAQ-0 (SAQ00-F in Medarot DS)
Head Part: Pretty Charmy
Right Arm: name not applicable
Left Arm: name not applicable
Legs Part: name not applicable
Note: Also known as the "beautiful nightmare" of the Medabots, Succulis is the only known female model that is able to inflict the Bind status effect on enemy Medabots and the Charge status effect on herself, essentially draining them of their speed.

Metal Beetle
Hercules Beetle/Kabuto-Type Medabot
Model no. KBT-0
Head Part: Missile (Metamissile in Medarot DS)
Right Arm: Revolver (Metarevolver in Medarot DS)
Left Arm: Submachinegun (Metamachinegun in Medarot DS)
Legs Part: Ochitsuker (pronounced oh-chit-sker)
Note: This is the granddaddy of all KBT type Medabots, and is an older version of Ikki Tenryo's Metabee. Plus, the Head and both Arm medaparts are named differently in demo versions of Medarot DS, and nothing's known of the Legs part.

Head Scissors
Stag Beetle/Kuwagata-Type Medabot
Model no. KWG-0
Head Part: Antenna
Right Arm: Chanbara Sword
Left Arm: Picopeco Hammer
Legs: Tatacker
Note: This is Head Scissors, the very first model of the KWG series and an older version of Rokusho.

Alex, it's bad enough to you constantly double post. I and others have warned against this many, many, many times. On occasion, you have even triple posted. This is the first time, however, that I have you, let alone anyone, make a quadruple post. I'm not going to clean it up jsut yet. Instead, I'm going to lock the thread for 24 hours before I fix it in hopes that it will teach you something.

Double-posting is posting two times in a row.

If you posted twice in one forum on the same day, but your posts were separated by another member's post, then you didn't double-post.
