nintendo dsi problem

I have had my dsi for a year and a half now. Now today it will not turn on but the blue light will come on sometimes when I hit the power button. The screen will not turn on however and one time after turning it on it had a number reading something like "00fe000"(I think thats what it said). Is there anyway i could fix it with out sending it in and paying money to get it fixed?

First off, this belongs in tech support.

To answer your question, I need more information. Is there any sound? If there is no sound as well as no image, then there is most likely something wrong with the circuit board. In that case, your best bet would be sending it to Nintendo. If there is sound, but no image, you may jsut need to replace your screen. This is relatively simple.

then the main circuit board, commonly called the motherboard, is dead. It's a problem best handled by Nintendo. If your system is under warranty, it will be fixed or replaced free of charge.
