The Basics

How to List

In order to list an item or items for sale or trade, include the name of the product in the topic title. State the items condition, and anything it includes. Post pictures of the item for validity. If you cannot provide pictures, it is not a problem, but you will be better trusted if you do. Be sure to include the ammount of money you want, or what items you will accept for it. You may list only Nintendo and Video Game related items or memorabilia! This includes such things as Pokemon cards and e-reader cards. Club Nintendo items, promotional items from game stores and whatnot, etc. all trades must be made in a thread. If you DO trade through a messenger or PM, screen caps of the transaction will be REQUIRED. Trades made outside of the Market Place are NOT our business, and will not be handled as such.

iTrader

iTrader is a way of leaving feedback once a transaction is completed. If you have ever used eBay or Amazon, the system will be quite familiar to you. To leave a feedback, visit the users iTrader profile and select "leave feedback". Please be honest when using this system. Even trades made digitally (Club Nintendo codes, etc.) are eligible for feedback.

Middlemen

If you do not trust the person on the other end of the deal for some reason, or you simply wish to have a middle man for any other purposes, you may contact the appropriate middle man for their service. If you choose to use a middle man, you must include the amount it will cost them to ship the package. This additional amount may be charged to the buyer with your regular shipping charges as long as they are informed of the middle man. Our current middle men are:

SuperGamecube64 (Virginia - handles East Coast US)

Gareth (Yorkshire, England - handles all UK middle manning)

N64stein (Handles all Canada middle manning)

We are currently looking for middle men for these locations:

West Coast US

Mexico

If anyone other than the above listed members claims to be a middle man, DO NOT reply to their claim. PM Gareth or myself with their user name, and do not complete the transaction.

Reporting Problems

False Claims

If you have been duped into buying or trading for a fake/nonexistent item, please contact Gareth or myself. We can't promise to get your stuff back, but the scammer will be banned from further use of the NFF Market Place.

Damaged Item Claims

Items damaged via the shipping process are something that is near unavoidable. It's one of those things that will simply happen from time to time. If a buyer or trader claims that the item you sent was damaged during shipping and can provide evidence, you are required to trade back or refund their money. The only exception to this rule is if the buyer/trader did the damage themselves. If you suspect a customer/trader has purposefully damaged their item, please contact Gareth or myself.

Payment

If you are selling or buying, it is highly recommended that you use a Paypal account to do so. You may also pay through mailing cash or checks, but due to the likelihood of fraud, it is preferable that you use Paypal.

do the middlemen get to test out if the games work?

Yes, they get to test the games for proper function only if they are asked to do so, but the game must be shipped within 3 days of receiving it. This is especially true in the US, where opening someone elses mail without permission is a felony.

another thing, to be a middle man you must have shipping material including flat rate boxes, and bubble mailers ready just in case. You don't have to keep drawers full like I do for my business, but a package or 2 won't hurt and is inexpensive.
