Dear Boss

Dear Boss,

I have enjoyed working here these past several years. You
have paid me very well, given me benefits beyond belief.
I have 3-4 months off per year and a pension plan that
will pay my salary till the day I die and a health plan that
most people can only dream about.

Despite this I plan to take the next 12-18 months to find a
new position.

During this time I will show up for work when it is convenient. In
addition I fully expect to draw my full salary and all the other perks
associated with my current job.

Oh yeah, if my search for this new job proves fruitless, I
will be back with no loss in pay or status. Before you say anything,
remember that you have no choice in the matter. I can and will do this.

Sincerely,

Every Senator or Congressman running for President.

Try that at your job and tell me how it works out.

Cool

Not bad,
if Marvman was to recieve this type of letter of resignation
from one of his subordinates, he would give a proper
spic-and-span recommendation letter on the spot.

Very formal, and professional. As well as sticking to the point.
Bosses do not like to read a long and dreary letter.
Get to the point, try to be as professional as you can,
and you will be treated with the same respect.

Marvman will post an example of a Job Resume/Application letter
on here later on to show how it should be done.
Just to help you all know the proper etticut on how to apply
for a position of high stature or regular job.

Rockn.

Thanks jumbotron.

Well, if I tried that at my current job, which is unemployment, then I'd probably tell myself, "You're fired," and then sigh, "If only, if only".

I'd like to serve this up to Donald Trump and get his opinion.
