Could "Runners" be a reality one day?

I recently picked up the game Mirror's Edge for under $20. In it, you are a "runner". In a world where information is heavily monitored, you cannot send an email that contains anything confidential, and you obviously can't use snail mail. Google, and the internet in general would be basically useless. that is where Runners come in. They are parkour taken to the next level. They deliver confidential packages by scaling rooftops, and use their nimble quickfootedness to remain out of site and out of mind.

Our world is becoming more monitored little by little. Do you think that one day, "Runners" could be a reality? Obviously, some of the physics in Mirror's Edge are ridiculous. You can't run along a wall for 8 steps (the most recorded is like 4), but parkour is definitely a reality.

I think that, yeah, the idea of runners is plausible.

sure. if the exact same scenario from mirrors edge happened in real life, probably.
it's not like people are gaining super powers or anything. it's just trained people, fulfilling a service.
