Drum Machine - A drum machine emulator using 360/PS3 RockBand drums

Drum Machine is a drum machine emulator using 360/PS3/PS2 Rock Band drum
sets. It does allow the use of two drum sets at the same time. Now I'm
not saying that this anything like playing a real drum set, but if you're
considering playing drums and don't want to spend a lot of money, this
should work out for you. You're able to set up the sounds anyway you
like, and can even download more sounds if you wish.

Quote:
Drum Machine is a Windows app that allows you to play your Rock Band drums as if they are a real electronic drumset. Drum Machine uses input from the drumset to play "samples" that you assign to each pad. It comes with a few drum samples already, but you can add as many as you want (up to 1024), since they are simply WAV files. Drum Machine also allows you to record yourself, save it to file, and play it back or send it to a friend.

Thanks for the link! My daughter has been wanting to start playing the drums ever since we got rck band, and this might be a great way for her to decide if it is actually something she wants to do!

Well sorta... Personally I would try this and if she SERIOUSLY starts taking a liking to it, rent a set. Or find an affordable electronic set for her.
