This will be good for the gamers that never purchased and/or bought the DLC.

Are they changing anything other than characters? Balancing, move sets, anything? Can players of Komplete play online with players of the original release? If not, I'll be sticking with the regular edition.

I didn't buy the original so this'll probably be good for a cheap buy.

It's like the super version of Street Fighter IV.

In other words, think of this as a GOTY. Meaning it comes with all DLC (Characters + Skins) but no actual updates to the game, and yes they can connect with each other but don't be fooled into buying this new one because its the "Komplete" edition. If you already own the game just download the DLC rather then buying the whole new disk.

Only advantage to this is that, if your the kind of noob that doesn't use Xbox Live these days, you could take the komplete edition round to a friend and have all DLC on disk.

Yeah, I have all the DLC already with the exception of maybe 1 skins pack. No reason for me to buy this.

also, someone who doesn't use XBL isn't necessarily a noob. I don't use it outside of downloads anymore because it costs money I don't have. I also know people who have internet that is simply not good enough for it.

I hate games like this, simply because developers are practically discouraging buying games on launch, or new. It also enforces the fact that by purchasing a game, brand new, you don't have the whole game yet. I mean, the idea of selling a "final version" of a game is nothing new. We've seen this from developers from a long time now, notably in the form of "Game of the Year" editions. The message from developers is always clear. "This is the final, true edition of this game. If you bought an earlier edition for the same price or more, you must be an idiot."

But yet developers complain time and time again about how used games are too popular, and nobody buys their games new anymore, or for full price. I wonder why that is...
